Extra bed: The extra bed is free for children from 0 – 5 years old. For children who are 6 years old or older, we charge 20 € / night. We can put an extra bed only in the comfort rooms. Please note that we can only put 1 extra bed per room.

Minibar: All our rooms have a minibar. The minibar is payable and in addition to the price of the room.

“Do not disturb”: If the “do not disturb” sign is hung on the door, we will respect your privacy. Please note that our maids must still clean once a day. The Parc Hôtel Alvisse is committed to reducing its environmental footprint and improving the sustainability of the services it offers by investing in sustainable practices and collaborating with its customers and local suppliers. The hotel has implemented a GREEN program so that our guests can benefit from the daily renewal of towels and linen. The program also offers the possibility of modifying the supply days; linen renewal can be ordered from our new website. The hotel has invested heavily in the installation of sustainable heating, air conditioning and solar water heating systems for the outdoor swimming pools for several years. In addition, the hotel has a centralized switching system that systematically cuts all energy consumption by 90% in each room using a magnetic card. LED televisions have been installed to significantly reduce energy consumption. Our entrance is fully equipped with an automatic double door “airlock”. Our boiler is equipped with a regulation system which takes into account temperature variations according to the outside temperature, day and night, integrating summer/winter management.

To reduce water consumption, the Parc Hotel Alvisse has implemented a water flow regulation system, leak detectors, automatic temperature adjustment of thermostats and air conditioning. The hotel has optimized the use of tableware and implemented a unique water treatment system for the entire building. The hotel has also developed a cleaning technical sheet listing all products with a professional dosing system. The Hotel does not use products containing active chlorine such as bleach, sodium hypochlorite.

With regard to its product purchases, the hotel has entered into partnerships with local producers and suppliers. We use new “green” cleaning products to protect the environment. The hotel uses 100% recyclable white printing paper. More than 80% of drinks, meat, fish, fruits and vegetables are certified in Luxembourg and its surroundings.

The hotel bar now offers drinks served in reusable glass bottles collected by cleaners, and we have also discontinued the sale and distribution of canned drinks. The hotel also offers bulk product alternatives for each of the products featured at breakfast. The hotel has also invested in a digital oil-monitoring system that helps reduce frying oil waste with an automated oil-monitoring thermometer.


With regard to waste management, the hotel has set up a separate collection of batteries, paper, glass and empty bottles containing dangerous products, as well as when cleaning the rooms. We apply effective methods of sorting waste across all departments, including food waste, oils and beverages, cardboard packaging, paper, ink and ink cartridges. Monitoring of paper consumption has been introduced with the aim of reducing it.
